After, the technician will apply K&T Chem-Dry’s signature cleaning solution The Natural. The Natural uses carbonation to create millions of cleaning suds all without the use of any chemicals or detergents. We are proud of the safe clean cleaning solutions we use.
3. Extraction
The Natural will bring dirt and bacteria to the surface to be sucked away by our Hot Carbonated Extraction (HCE) process. This process uses little moisture and sucks all moisture left from The Natural away.
K&T Chem-Dry’s efficient and effective cleaning process only take 10-15 minutes per piece of furniture. Drying takes a few hours depending on home humidity condition. Running a ceiling fan or air condition may help the drying time.
Due to our low-moisture techniques, your upholstery will dry within a few hours after the service*.
*It is important to note that dry times can be impacted by unforeseen factors, including soil conditions and humidity. Those factors can be mitigated if you turn on ceiling fans, floor fans and your air conditioner to help dry the furniture faster.

Chem-Dry upholstery protectant creates a new liquid shield for the furniture to repel spills and help prevent permanent stains. New furniture comes with a factory protectant to shield from stains and spills. However, these protectants wear off at 12-19 months. Meaning is your furniture is over 2 years old it is smart to reapply protectant.Protectant is available at additional price.

5. Sanitizer
Chem-Dry sanitizer is effective at killing 89.1% of airborne bacteria from your home. If you really want cleaner air the sanitizer is a must. Chem-Dry offers the sanitizer for additional charge ask your technician for more.
